Flys into Guadalupe River

Guadalupe River State Park will be hosting special guests of the feathered kind the weekend of January 10th and 11th, and the public is invited to meet them. Doris Mager, “The Eagle Lady of Florida,” will be on hand for a series of programs with her live birds of prey. She will share her love and passion for owls, hawks and eagles while showing her birds, including a great-horned owl, crested caracara, eastern screech owl and American kestrel, North America’s smallest falcon.

These presentations are open to the public and sponsored by the Park and The Friends of Guadalupe River/Honey Creek, Inc. Admission to the park is $6 for adults, $3 for anyone 65 and over and free for children 12 and under (Free with a valid TPWD Park Pass).

The program times are:

Saturday, 10 January: 11:00 a.m.
Saturday, 10 January: 2:00 p.m.
Sunday, 11 January: 1:00 p.m.
